Mr. Herbert Sprague
Mr. Sprague is a senior
marketing, sales and commercial professional
in the energy and nuclear energy fields. His
background springs from a B.S. in Engineering
from the U.S. Naval Academy and early work in
the U.S Naval nuclear submarine program. He
also holds an MBA from the University of Santa
Clara. His Naval service is followed by over
30 years working in General Electric’s nuclear
energy and nuclear fuel businesses. He is
now retired from GE, but continues active
consulting work in the industry.
During his career with
GE, Mr. Sprague obtained over $2 Billion in
nuclear fuel sales orders spanning global
markets with significant near term focus and
success in the U.S. and Asian marketplaces.
In these activities he was directly
responsible for customer relationships,
commercial strategy, proposal preparation,
presentation, evaluation, acceptance, and
negotiation of the resulting contacts. As a
consultant, he has continued work in these
same areas, plus engaged other activities
ranging from strategic planning to preparation
and presentation of a comprehensive contract
practices training course for client
employees.
